Werewolves and Lollipops

Werewolves and Lollipops

Patton Oswalt has been a stand-up comedian for almost twenty years. And this is his second CD. Lazy…or maybe busy. He’s appeared in over twenty movies, including Magnolia, Reno 911!: Miami and the documentary The Comedians of Comedy, which he also created and produced. This spring, the Comedians of Comedy were the first ever comedians to ever perform at the Coachella Music Festival. Patton’s also a regular at Bumbershoot, SXSW and Bonnaroo.

Most of his film work came during hiatus from CBS’s The King of Queens, where he played the character “Spence” for nine seasons. He’s also a regular on shows like Reno 911!, a frequent guest on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Kimmel Live, and a recurring voice actor on Kim Possible, SpongeBob SquarePants, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Crank Yankers.

He’s a regular columnist in The New York Times Magazine, and was an un-credited writer on the Borat movie. This summer, he’s the lead voice in Pixar’s Ratatouille, playing a rat named Remy, who dreams of being a chef in Paris. Werewolves and Lollipops is his first record on Sub Pop, and was recorded in the Cap City Comedy Club in Austin, Texas in December of 2006.
